Oh my
We were at the store this evening, and some toddler was totally melting down, as they do. It is a big place and she had a good set of pipes!
Apparently her father (or dude that was with mom and kids?) couldn't handle it and responded by bending down and yelling in her face (sort of in her neck). It was horrifying.
My insomnia-sleep deprived, pregnant self nearly lost it. If I'd been closer to them, I'm sure he would have heard something from me.
Instead, I was glad I didn't totally start balling, though I did come close- I certainly cried.
Yes, toddlers are infuriating, but they are children and we are the adults. Loose your cool? Walk the F away.
