Does DPO start the first day or last day of ovulation?

I'm so confused as to which one. Been trying for a few months and we started bd'ing the day after AF for three days straight, then took a day off and did it the next two days them took 2 days off. We didn't bd on my peak day though. Is there still a chance

Ovulation only happens once...ovulation is second the egg is released...the "fertile window" is the days where sex can increase chance of pregnancy since sperm can live for 5 days once inside you and the egf is viable for 24 hours after release. Your ovulation day on this app is the day before your last fertile day...so..if you only use the app 1dpo is actually your last fertile day
