Anyone who has difficulty TTC..

I'm writing for advice from the ladies who have/had trouble TTC. What steps did your doctor take and when? Do they ever start sooner than 1 year? For me my first son took 12 months to conceive, my 2nd took 14 months and we had a miscarriage in between at 6 weeks along. Now we are TTC #3 (final) and I'm trying to be proactive but we're already 7 months post birth control and the frustration is setting in. Progesterone tests were normal, ovulation is occurring. Do doctors ever start you on medication sooner than 1 year if you have a history of difficulty and history of miscarriage? Looking for some hope that this journey isn't so long for our final baby...
