Have you tried a menstrual cup?

I'm just curious as to how many of you use them. I am tempted to try but I am a little nervous to spend all of that money (poor college student) & I just don't know how I feel about the idea of them.

I've been debating but haven't been brave enough. I think I would want a non disposable (cost wise) because wouldn't the disposables end up costing the same as using tampons? What's the benefit if you still so disposable? Can you have sex with it in or something?

I want to try as I find that tampons intensify my period and I'm allergic to pads. But I'm worried that I'm going to find the whole process gross, which is immature I suppose but I don't enjoy seeing blood so much (old fear). Does anyone else find it a bit gross? 😏

I do and I really like it. Do some research on the different sizes and shapes so that you will know which one is the best for you. Sizes vary between brands a smal from one brand can be the medium for another. But if you know your body it should be easy. It took me about four cycles too fully understand how it was the best way to use it for me. I have one with only two holes and I figured out that the suction is way stronger when I put it in with the holes on the side like were the feet are. It's a small example I hope that it is not tmi or not too much atleast.

Try using the Soft Cup if your looking to try a cup. It's like $6 for a box and it will probably last you two cycles. They are disposable but last 12 hours depending on your flow. I personally will never go back to tampons. Cups make my period 100% easier. Never tried the reusable Diva Cup, but I do suggest Soft Cups. They even have a coupon online. If you do decide to try them, make sure to read the instructions thoroughly and make sure the cup is far up enough.

I have tried the disposable cups, they cost the same as tampons. It was a little tricky at first but I love them! I am still nervous to get a more expensive one but have been very happy with the disposables. (It's not as scary as you think it will be!)
