Formula help baby sleep?

Iv heard from a few gfs who were breastfeeding then switched to formula there LO slept a lot better at night. My LO is 7 weeks and he is strictly drinking breast milk that I pump. Iv really been thinking of switching to formula when I go back to work. But I'm also looking for some sleeping advice too. My LO right now is sleeping in his rock & play because he hates his bassinet as do I. It's too flat and it doesn't swing or anything for him. Any other FTM having a tough time putting your LO down at night and figuring out a routine that best works for you? I'm so new to this and not quite sure how or what I should be doing. I want to do what's best for me and baby.
