Spotting during fertile week??

Can anyone explain what would cause red spotting during like the third day of fertile week? I had a blood PT test s few days ago and was negative...

Ovulation spotting I get it every month it's normal for me that's how I know I ovulate besides the cramps and backaches

Its never happened to me before.  Right after I started spotting my temp dropped to 97.6 and now this morning was 98.9 so I wonder did I actually ovulate last night?
