When should you announce your pregnancy?

I'm 4 weeks 3 days and I'm so ready to start telling my family but I'm nervous. This is my first pregnancy and I'm so worried to tell people and then something happens. I can't help but be nervous about it. Do I tell or do I not ?

My husband and I told our families as soon as we found out at 4 weeks and I ended up having a miscarriage at 5 weeks. It was hard having to tell people what happened but it helped me get through it knowing I had their support and I could talk to them

I say tell when you feel right about it! We found out with #1 when I was roughly 3 weeks along, #2 when I was 5 weeks, and just found out about #3 two days ago at 4weeks, 5 days. We announced my earlier pregnancies very early. This one, I want to wait until after the first trimester since that is around Christmas time. :)

We told my husband's family this past weekend at 5.5 weeks because we are really excited about a 2nd baby and we don't see them often.

When u feel it's the right time... The most common is to announce to the public at 3 months cause ur past the most known stages of miscarriage. Just know that things happen and if u announce it early then you'd have to announce it to everyone that u had a miscarriage too lord forbid that happened. I announced it to family and close friend almost as soon as I found out. But I'm waiting a little longer to tell everyone
