Question about cramps

Hi I'm 8 1/2 weeks pregnant I have been having somewhat mild cramps which I hear is normal and common but sometimes the cramps are on one side sometimes there are in my lower butt area and sometimes it's just my lower Abdoman. It goes away and no spotting but is the lower bottom area normal?? I have had a miscarriage and an ectopic and the pain isn't anything like that burnt still has me worried.. Please help!
