Sick anyone??!

Did anyone get sick with the flu/cold while they were pregnant?? If so what did u take? I am worried it will affect my lil boy 😓

There's ALOT u can't take, other than vitamin c syrup/lemons with hot water, certain lozenges are ok but for most part just have to ride it out, can take panadol 6 hourly but only recommended for 3 days in a row, I'm just starting to get over flu which has been two weeks and counting, hope u get better soon chick being sick and pregnant is so not cool!!!

I am getting over one. Not sure how far along you are, but my OB ok'd sudafed for me to take (in 2nd trimester with an unremarkable pregnancy). I've also eaten lots of oranges and made homemade lemonade for the vitamin C.

Sick with a cold right now. My midwife gave me a list of medications that are safe. I'm taking robitussin DM before bed to help me sleep a little better.

My doc ok'd Vicks vaporub, I also have a kidney infection so I'm on a mild antibiotic for that.

Plenty of fluids and Vicks vapor rub helped  with my cold oh and Tylenol for my sore throat cause that's about all I could do!

I've had a cold for 3 weeks. Lemon and ginger and honey in hot water. There's not much you can do.

Yep - got a cold at the mo. Haven't taken anything for it. There's not much you can take. Hot drinks have helped.
