Anyone else with di/do twins being referred to a maternal and fetal specialist?

I have been seeing one since I was 9 weeks.. if though di/di are low high risk..your still consider high risk and it all depends if your ob is comfortable with caring for twins or not

I am. So annoying. I hate having an OB then MFM to go to to talk to another OB. My previous pregnancy I got to report, examined and ultrasound at my OBGYN's office. I feel like it's a waste of my time and money! Plus, the lab works I have get done at the lab every month. And starting my next visit I need to start going twice a week to labor and delivery to get a nonstress test done twice a week with ultrasound because they don't have the machine that supports twins. I just want it to be all in the same building at least and sane day.

I went around 17 weeks and everything was fine so I didn't have to go back! My OB was a high risk specialist though. The MFM Doctor was with a different hospital. Not sure why I had to go! I delivered two healthy boys though!

Had my 20 week scan w the mfm. Everything checked out so until there's a concern, I'll be with my regular ob.
