First trimester spotting/bleeding

Just wondering what everyone had for spotting/bleeding. I'm 8 weeks today and have had probably 5 episodes in the last 4 weeks with minimal spotting. Today I spotted a little during the day and then tonight actually had red blood. I haven't had any cramps per say, I did notice a little odd feeling on my left side, but wouldn't describe it as cramps. I have my first apt tomorrow but I'm really nervous and just wondered if/ how much everyone else has had for spotting / bleeding in the first trimester. Hoping it's nothing and my little jellybean is still hangin on and growin great! Thanks in advance.
