Grilled turkey sandwiches?

Question

I know we are supposed to avoid turkey and cold cuts but, what about a grilled turkey sandwich? I get my turkey sliced at the deli (hen house, boars head turkey) and would just build a sandwich and then grill it on a skillet. I don't know if the turkey would get "steaming " but it would be warm? And, what about rotissary turkey from the deli? Ugh i used to eat turkey sandwiches every day!

My doctor told me that deli meat bought out the store prepackaged is perfectly fine. Fresh cut deli meats like subway or publix or any fresh deli meat must be heated or cooked before consuming.

They are delicious; I eat them all the time! A little swiss and a little mayo - perfecto! And safe. :)

I've been having toasted hand and cheese...yummy!!! Now I'm a bit further along am starting to eat a bit more variety don't want this little bubba to have allergies

You & baby are fine if you eat some turkey!  I ate a turkey sandwich today, it was awesome!!!

Just grill or microwave the meat first. Even if the meat arrives at a store you know and trust you don't know the conditions it was in before it got to the store.

I just place my meat on the skillet first, heat it up good, then assemble and grill the sandwich.

You're fine as long as you get the turkey from a place that has a lot of turn over and is clean ENJOY! I haven't heated up my cold cuts once this pregnancy it's my first and I'm almost 8 months.
