Feel like I'm annoying my dr's office!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I'm going on 3 weeks of coughing non stop. I've taken every allergy medicine and robitussin and cough drops and nothing is working. I've called my dr.'s office 3 times in the past 3 weeks and they keep telling me to take allergy meds and robitussin because I'm pregnant so unless I start running a fever, they won't prescribe me anything.
