Am I the only one that wears their promise ring on their left hand?

I thought promise rings were suppose to be worn there? Isn't it a promise to one day get married? Wouldn't you wear it on your left hand ring finger as a sign you're taken/promised to someone?

I clicked no I do too because when I was first given mine ide wear it like that it was a promise/engament ring because we were waiting for his divorce...we r now married
