BBT signs if you're not pregnant

I've read where bbt will drop after ovulation if you are not pregnant, but how soon after ovulation does it drop? Would it be immediately after? This is the first month I am checking bbt so I don't have previous months to compare to. Can someone please let me know how soon after ovulating does the temp drop when you're not pregnant?
