Hyperemesis gravidarum: Someone in the same boat?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and since 6 weeks I am really bad about morning sick. I went to the hospital two times and the doctor told me that I have hyperemesis. I hope this pass soon!

I didn't officially get told have that but my the time my 8 week appointment rolled around my doctor was really afraid of me developing it. She gave me a prescription for Diclegis  and it has helped. When I got pregnant I told myself I wasn't going to take medication but my doctor told me hyperemesis could end up in hospitalization or even worse miscarriage. So I took the medication and I feel great.  Really really expensive  though. After my insurance paid $391 I still had to pay $119 for a 45 day supply at the minimum dose.

Prayers to you lady's.....I had it with my first and second pregnancy.....it was Hell....hang in there I know it's so hard to see the end at this point....keep ice ,get plenty of fresh air,eat 5 small bland meals, water ice helps ....chicken soup just the broth,salad with Apple cider vinegar.....milk shakes with bananas....these things help me a lot....it ease help for me around five months.....I hope you guys do better then I did.....

I have it, second pregnancy with it. The first pregnancy I was in and out of the er 7 times. Lost almost 20lbs in two weeks. It was bad, I had it my entire pregnancy. This time, I'm almost 8 weeks and have had it since I found out at 4 weeks but started getting worse at 6 weeks. if one option doesn't work for you have your doctor give you another. Zofran was the only thing that worked the first time and it's only half ass working with this pregnancy. Make sure you get a lot of rest, try to drink fluids as much as possible and eat very bland things. I wish you the best of luck.

I have it too. I am currently in the hospital, I've been here for 3 days. My doctor said she's trying to get me over the 10 week hump...I'm assuming that's when it gets better.
