Would you say your baby saved your life or changed it for the better ?

I was thinking about this since I saw I post on Facebook that said "My baby didn't ruin my life she saved it". I would like to hear stories about the baby that changed your life for the better! Thank you.

I lost a baby in 2011. I was on the wrong path, & became very depressed. Was doing any & everything to fill the void in my heart. I ended up with the wrong man, in jail, facing 22 years in prison & a lifetime title of a "felon" GOD & My mother got me out of that sticky situation. I was held at gun point & robbed bc of this man, i lost EVERYTHING!  I found out i was prego 3 months after being released & i decided SHE DESERVED better. She was born i got my own place, finished college, started my career, & havent looked back since ! She is my LIFE SAVER & Miracle

My 2nd daughter, Ava arrived on 1/20/06, 2 weeks before her due of 2/3/06. My mom (my best friend) passed away on 2/3/06. I know my little one made an early appearance in order for my mom to meet her. She only saw her twice before passing but I remember those moments clear as day. Ava saved me from spiraling into depression.  The only reason I made it through such a darks and lonely period was because I needed to be there for my daughters. I had a 4 year old and a newborn who are depending on me. There was no way I was going to let them down. It was definitely the most difficult thing I've ever been through but I am so grateful I had my babies there to keep me sane. I have a very special bond with Ava because she was my distraction and savior. I turned all of my attention to my girls and focused on being the best mommy I could be in honor of my mother. I miss her so much and really wish she was here to see them grow up. I just had my 3rd daughter 10 weeks ago and can't help but think she was picked just for me by my angel in heaven. Her sweet smile reminds me of my mom everyday.

I was in a bad place. Drinking everyday til I was wasted or passed out. And i started to dabble in drugs. My boyfriend then turned me to that type of life. 6 months later, I found out I was pregnant.  I quit everything cold turkey. I thought about leaving him but his dad kept convincing me to stay. Her dad constantly stole from me, got my jeep repod, and disappeared a lot. But, I stayed. I have a story every week I was pregnant from him ditching me, leaving me stranded at work, stealing from me, and once, laid a hand on me. His dad knew everything but kept convincing me to stay. "He'll change when he hears the heartbeat." "He'll change when he sees the baby on ultrasound." "...when he hold the baby" 
He never changed and ended up worse. With a colicky baby who slept 20 minutes at a time 24/7 and him disappearibg for days leaving us with no food, $ or car,  it was hell. But I never touched alcohol or drugs again. I finally left him when my daughter was 6 weeks after he disappeared for 4 days. 
Now, 3 years later, I am happy.  Wonderful boyfriend whom my daughter knows as Daddy. He wants to adopt her once we marry. I do drink rarely but thats it. Her sperm donor had put me 20k into collections without my knowledge until after I had moved back home so it was a struggle getting back on my feet. BUT, now, I bought a gorgeous house, nice car, wonderful boyfriend, awesome dog, and a fabulous life I had only dreamed about a few years ago. 
Sorry for the long story but I have accomplished so much after the living hell I was put thru and am very proud of myself with how determined I was and am to give her the life she deserves and it kept me going, pushing for more.
And to this day, I haven't heard anything from her sperm donor. It's been 2 years and he wants nothing to do with us which I am perfectly fine with.

Yes, I've suffered from depression ever since, I hit rock bottom, I was receiving counselling and was on medications( I Still am). Any ways, when I was 32 weeks I just had enough with my life, with all the things I've been through; my marriage started on a slippery slope, my mother has always been a c*nt, yes I ll say that again, because that's what she is, I've actually been through a lot! So there I was sitting on the bed with a bunch of pills, and I started taking them one by one. I'm saying my goodbyes to the world and Alhena( my daughter) kicks, I don't know if that was why I changed my mind, I spat all those pills out. And called Samaritans( a helpline in the UK that deals with suicides and depressions) , I spoke to them and felt a whole lot better. She's brought light into my life and reason for living, I still go through a bit of a bad times here and there but no where as bad as what happened that day. She's my angel.

I fell pregnant with my daughter in 2009. It wasn't planned. Her father and I were dating less then a month. When the tests came back positive we cried. My life before her involved drinking every Friday and Saturday night. A few months prior to getting pregnant, I actually had a night where the police, ambulance and fire department was called and I had to be taken to the hospital. I had alcohol poisoning and was in really bad shape. I changed my whole life when I was pregnant and she was born. I no longer hung around the drinking crowd and became more responsible. None of my friends had kids yet, so it was a rough adjustment, but to this day when I look at my beautiful 6 year old I never forget how she changed my life. Even on my rough days when she gets on my nerves she means so much.

Yes she made it so much better. Before I had I I couldn't go to school because I had no money wasn't independent so my parents had to claim me in order for me to get financial aid but they refused to because they wanted to claim one of my brothers so that they could get more money in their refund check during tax time. I tried to talk with my school but they refused to do anything. Once I had her I became an independent and was able to go to school. Graduated with my accounting degree in the summer. If it wasn't for her I would have had to wait until I was 24/25 to go to school.
