Rh-, O-,& Rhogam shot... has this affect my Ttc?

I'm O- ,with my first child(he is 12 now) I had to get the Rhogam shot. I've been trying to conceive for 4 years does this have any effect on not getting the bfp I've been working so hard for???

I'm RH negative too. It cannot make it harder to conceive per my obgyn :-) good luck!

The RH shot is only needed when you miscarry, when u get about midway through pregnancy, and when you deliver. Anytime the babies blood mixes with yours. It tricks your body so you won't create antibodies against the "foreign" blood. I'm negative, my husband is positive

I don't think so, but I had to have one at 7w2d and my baby passed hours later, we had just had a perfect scan with heartbeat.  Probably a coincidence but now I blame rhogam.

No it shouldn't have any effect at all.

I heard if you are actively trying and are Rh negative that you need the shot to conceive. I would ask your obgyn just to be sure.  But as I learned in class (I'm an MA) you only need the shot if your partner is positive and you are negative.
