How much do you spend weekly on groceries?

I shop for me and my boyfriend and we spend $90 per week, but every time I talk about it with someone, they make it seem like that is way too much. Just curious what other people's budgets look like.

I think a lot of that depends on where you live. Currently my husband and I spend about $300 a week (so about $150 for each of us). We're also both very active, with very high metabolisms so we plow through food like crazy. If we weren't so active our food bill would drop to half of that ($150 a week, so $75 for each).

It really depends on where you live and what stores you have available to shop at. So don't think too deeply about spending too much (or too little).
Husband and I spend about $50-60 per week. We do a lot of cooking, and don't buy a lot of processed foods. We shop mostly at AlDI and have found we save about 35% now compared to shopping at Stop & Shop like we used to. But if there was no AlDI near us...we wouldn't have that option! We'd have to cut corners somewhere, and we'd probably still be spending a bit more than what we do now. It stinks, but there really can be a big difference on prices across different stores, even if its for the exact same product :(

For me and my husband we spend $100-$150, so $90 doesn't seem like a lot to me. However, we eat a lot of fresh meat and fish, and try to eat a lot of organic fruits and vegetables.

For us it's about 80-100 dollars a week if you don't count eating out. I always buy things on sale and such, but food is pretty expensive where I live.

Monthly it's about $400 for myself, husband and our toddler, we shop once every two weeks, unless we need something like milk, then my husband usually goes for a quick run on his way home
