How long it take to go in labor?

My doctor said I was 1cm on Monday and 60, 70% effaced ave been having a back pain and legs hurt as well does this mean I'm close (38w 4d)

One girl I work with was 4cm for 3 weeks!!!!! They finally induced her and broke her water for her at her due date. Sounds so uncomfortable.

When you're at 1 it can be 3 days or 3 weeks. I'm 36w6d and have been at 1 for over a week. 
It's so frustrating to know the process has begun but there is no definitive way to know how quickly, or not, it'll continue to progress. 😁😁😁

I've been 1 cm since 37 weeks I think. My memory is getting worse!

I'm 40+5 now and still 1 cm and long :(

With both of my other pregnancies I was a 1 at 36-38 weeks and a 2 for the remainder of my pregnancy and both of my babies was late.
