Anyone planning on using a rock n play sleeper?

I hear they are amazing for getting baby to sleep but I also hear they can be dangerous due to SIDS and some neck issue that could occur. Thoughts?

I think they are perfectly safe. I would rather my baby in that instead of choking on his spit up/vomit etc and suffocating. Thats why i will also being sleeping him in a wedge (on his side) in a pack and play for the first couple months! 😊

I used for my daughter because of acid reflux. She would throw up if I laid her flat so it was the only way she would sleep. We did plenty of tummy time and her head formed great. I will try with this one to do flat crib, but if it doesn't work for him the rock n play is an amazing help!

The rock n play was the only thing my daughter would sleep in at night for a while. She wouldn't sleep in the bassinet

My son hated his crib when I brought him home. I told my pediatrician my son slept in his rock n play and she didn't seem worried. She gave me some tips for getting him use to his crib gradually. I'm trying to get him use to his crib by putting him in it for naps... So far we are making some progress. His rock n play days are numbered... At least for sleeping at night.

I plan to use one instead of a bouncer seat but not for sleeping at night.

From what I've read, rock and plays are great for temporary use but not for sleeping in every night because it can cause malformation of the baby's head which can lead to needing a helmet and other medical intervention to fix.
