Bringing home baby with a 1yr old Lab

Hi everyone - I am pregnant with my first, due June 15th! Just looking for some advice from dog owners. What has your experience been like bringing home a newborn with dogs in the house? My husband and I got a chocolate lab puppy in September (I wanted to wait until after kids, but he didn't want to wait any more and said we didn't know how long it would take us to conceive). Well it only took us 2 cycles and now we have a 4 month old pup and a baby on the way! She will be a year old when the baby is born. We are very involved with the dog and actively training her (she will even be doing some gun dog/retriever training in a few months so my husband can hunt with her), and we do restrict her access even now with baby gates, but she will still be young when the baby gets here and I am nervous to have a large breed dog around a newborn. How did you guys deal with dogs and new babies?
