When to test!??

Question

So I obviously have a very short cycle this app says 17 days. If I just ovulated 2 days ago but I'm due to start my period in 7 days when can I take an early test?

I have been off of bc pills for 3 months now and yes my period has been every 2 weeks or so. It's awful. I'm thinking that maybe my body just hasn't adjusted. But I have cm and one sided pain on the day of, before, or after when the app says. I have read that you have to have a long enough lp for successful implantation mine is about 8 days. I've read a few success stories from girls with the same short lp. But I just don't know. I guess I need to go back to the gyno.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you start AF less than 10 days after ovulation, it's very likely that any fertilized egg wouldn't have time to implant which would makes it very difficult to conceive.  Have you been checked out to see what might be causing these frequent periods?  Are you sure you ovulated when Glow said you did?

Well some tests claim as early as 6 days before your period, but I'm not sure if it'll be accurate for you because of the short cycle.

You're telling me you have your period ever two weeks? How annoying! I mean, good for multiple baby making chances, but I'd be so mad if I had to bleed for 6 days and do it all over in two weeks. Props to you, girl.
