Ingrown hair scars *warning - picture included*

I have some red and purple scars from digging out ingrown hairs before they were ready on my pubic area. I've had 2 sessions of ipl and try to shave as infrequently as possible, which will help prevent any more ingrowns showing up hopefully. But for my existing scars, is there anything I can do? They look awful and ruin the look of being shaved 👎🏼
