Confused, needing help.

My husband and I, I'm 27, have been ttc for the past 8 months with no luck. I'm irregular with my cycle so i started using this app to help me calculate when I ovulate and keep track of my cycles. According to this app I was in my most fertile days so we had sex and after which I noticed I was bleeding(around 2am 10/23) given I'd be 13 days early. The bleeding was medium flow for a day and has started to get lighter. My cycles average about 35 days some months and 28 days on others. In confused as to what exactly is going on with me because it doesn't smell like a menstrual blood. No cramping or pain of any kind. Not sure if this would be my period or should I be more concerned?
