Umm blood???

Question

For postpartum blood I'm a week and 4 days postpartum and the past three or 4 days the blood has gotten light and one hour the other day the blood wasn't coming out at all then all of a sudden I start bleeding again just when I think all the bloods gone..

It is normal to have a odd pattern of bleeding for postpartum.. or is this a problem..

It's normal. It can change with your activity level too. Unless you start passing large clots or bleeding through a pad in an hour, it's all good

I bled moderately the first week. I bled off and on the second and third week. Week 4, nothing and I got my first period by week 5 and was done by week 6.

That happened to me. I called the nurse at my doctors office and she said she would be nervous if I wasn't bleeding. I had completely stopped bleeding for two days and then it came back like a period. You should bleed off and on like that for a couple weeks. If you're nervous call your doctors office. They would rather know if something was wrong anyway.

This happened to me too, it was QUITE disappointing! I would think oh yes I'm finally done bleeding then it would start back up again, usually if I was particularly active that day.

All very normal, just remember to bring it up to your OB.

I had this happen too. I went to the er because I didn't increase activity. I was asleep when it happened so it scared me. They said it's completely normal for it to fluctuate. Just watch for large clots or extreme bleeding
