Endometriosis?

Question

Just posting to see if anyone else out there also suffers from Endometriosis. 
I figured if there's a lot, I'll open a group. (Or maybe I should anyway)

My roommate had to have surgery for it over the summer. We did not know what was wrong at first, she had recently come off BC because it was causing her Devore depression issues and she had sex with her SO but was in unbelievable pain after, like curled up in the fetal position crying for nearly an hour. At first we thought it was appendicitis, then a ruptured ovarian cyst, it was not until she was already in surgery that they found out it was endometriosis they had to close her up and reschedule the surgery. However, after it was all done her periods became significantly less painful and she has not had any problems since. She has continued to not take BC and has not had any issues, although that is not reccomended because hormonal BC can be helpful with endometriosis.

I've just found out that I do as well, I'm having the surgery in a month or two.
