Skinny shaming.

I don't have a issue with skinny people, I actually prefer them sexually. And I understand that there are sufferers of eating disorders or medically need to gain weight, but I'm not taking about them because those are the smaller percentage.

Someone please explain to me what exactly "skinny shaming" is? What is the history of it? Skinny people aren't oppressed other than maybe a heavy chick being a bitch to them like they probably are to the heavy chicks. Not everyone is a bitch, but you know those people exsist.. the only instance I've heard so far off "skinny shaming" was a mom checking her teen to she if she had a eating disorder when she was just naturally bony. How is a mom checking to see if her kid needs help shaming?? She may have upset her kid but she is probably upset everytime she has to go to the dentist too. Mom was just being mom. I've never heard of skinny oppression. Society has wanted to be skinny for several decades now. I haven't seen a big model shot that was taken after the 50s. So someone explain please. I'm sure some of you will snap because this is Glow and all we do is fight 😑. Keep in mind I'm asking for knowledge before you tell me I'm a twat bucket..

So what do you think is skinny shaming specifically? Where did that term come from?
