Shopping too early??

I'm 9 wks. Is it to early to start buying baby items?? I'm a huge couponer. Baby draft is normally $9.99..... There's a deal going on where I can get it for $2.99. I ready to hit the stores. Is it too early?? Is it a jinx? Thoughts? Opinions are welcomed.

I bought little things here and there starting around 7-8 weeks. Do what makes you happy. It's not going to jinx your pregnancy in any way. I would just make sure what you buy can be returned, or given away. And make sure it's gender neutral 😊 that's what I did.

I've had a miscarriage at 10.5 weeks. Glad I didn't buy anything. This time around I waited until I found out the gender until I shopped. I'm 23 weeks now and have already received a lot of gifts. I'm trying to hold off on a lot of shopping in general because I know I'm gonna be bombarded with gifts! Btw, I'm just going to do baby laundry with the normal laundry.

Buy the dreft I'm a couponer too not too extreme but things like that soaps and diapers etc I would start buying now you will need it

I would definitely wait at least until 2nd trimester. But stock up on maternity clothes early trust me at some point ur gonna need them. Especially pants. Its good to pick out maternity outfits so you won't have to spend 20 minutes trying to find out what looks ok when ur belly is big.lol experiencing that first hand sadly.

If you believe in being jinxed, wait. If not, shop 'till you drop! If, God forbid, something happens, would you be hurt by the presence of your purchases? Or could you just tell yourself it will be used in the future. It's really up to you. Personally, I'd wait until the 2nd trimester. I've had 2 bad outcomes, so I'm inclined to wait a bit; however, with my first, my son, I had his room done by 15 weeks :p Too excited! :)

I didn't buy anything until just now. I'm 27 weeks. But I had a blighted ovum m/c last year and didn't find out until 8-9 weeks so I was a little paranoid
