Today I woke up to use the bathroom and discovered that I was bleeding, complete with large clots. I was a wreck and my husband rushed me to the ER. After a pelvic exam and discovering that my cervix was still closed, they sent me for an ultrasound. There they discovered not one healthy baby BUT TWO!!! I went to the ER waiting to hear I had lost my baby and left with the news that I am expecting twins. As far as the bleeding, the doctor diagnosed me with a peri gestational hemorrhage and said it will resolve.
