I have been on and off with my boyfriend for the past four, almost five, years. My entire family disapproves of me even talking to him, and none of them know we are back together. My friends know, his friends, and his family as well. It really bothers him that I haven't told my family, even though he understands how reluctant I am. They hate him, and I don't know how well they would take it. We are planning on getting an apartment together when I finish my required year in the dorms, and have plans to get married in a few years when we are more financially stable. I don't know how to break the news to my parents, and I am honestly terrified to do it.
