Pumping to speed up labor? Has anyone done this? I DONT want to pump any colostrum out though - just want to get labor to speed up. I've been in early labor since Friday and Idk how much longer this will take! 4cm dilated. Tried walking, sex, squats, and I also tried nipple stimulation with my hands but i can't seem to sit there and do it without cramping up(my hand) and being uncomfortable. If there's no way to not lose colostrum while pumping then I will NOT even attempt. His head is down low and seems to be ready to come out, but my cervix just won't go past 4cm! My contractions won't progress any more than they have. 37+5 weeks so they won't give me anything to speed it up unless medically necessary.. I'm so miserable.
