Who tests after having their surge????

Had my OPK dark line peak 7 days ago and been monitoring my levels most nights since and I'm still reading a faint line (or am I going mad and seeing things) ... does anyone else test after their LH surge and is it normal to still get a albeit faint reading ?? Thanks :)

Yeah we all have LH and that's why it can be picked up throughout the whole cycle. Even when you can a positive opk it still doesn't 100% mean that you are going to ovulate (unfortunately) it just means it's detected a surge, a surge needed to ovulate. x

I monitored mine on my last cycle because I was intrested to see what my levels did. After my peak they dropped like yours and became really faint and then suddenly the line got darker - not a positive test but not far off this was 11 dpo. Thought it was strange so did a hcg out of curiosity (mid afternoon) not expecting to see anything. I'm now 8+3 so for me it was an indication I was pregnant. I did read that you can also have a little bit of a increase before you AF but I found that out afterwards. X

We have lh in our bodies anyway so a faint line is irelavant some women can ovulate twice but it's quite rare and only usually in long cycles x I would stop once ur peak has gone x
