Did metformin work for you when ttc? How long did it take to get a bfp?

Two months and nothing so far 😪

I took metformin 500 mg 1 a day for a week, 2  a day for a week, and 3 a day for a week. Then switched me to 850 mg 2 a day for a month. 
Did not conceive. Switched to clomid and currently on day 3 of taking it!! Praying for baby!!(: 
On a side note the metformin made me SUPER sick!! All day, everyday!

I used it for only one month it did not work so my ob switched me to clomid I used it for 2 months and  nothing so now we are doing clomid and IUI. But everyone is different so just keep our hopes high and if it don't work after a couple months talk to your doctor about some of the other fertility meds like clomid.
