Snacks while nursing?

Question

What are some of the snacks you keep handy while nursing? I especially get hungry during our middle of the night sessions and currently have been snacking on animal crackers but that's getting old ;) baby is 2 weeks so she's up 3+ times to nurse overnight.

Any suggestions? If I remember I'm going to mix some trail mix to keep on a bowl. :) thanks!!

Fresh fruit or any kind of nuts almonds cashews or peanuts, very healthy and you can keep them out without going bad.
Make up little snack bags so you haven something easy to grab. If you don't have time for that try pre packaged trail mix or dried fruit.

What I definetely needed with my 1st was something to drink! Water was the best I could have, I felt likeI was  dehydrating!!! I also used to put something in my mouth real quick before starting (maybe to keep me awake!) if it had some chocolate in it even better, although not perhaps the healthier option... Have you tried an "easy to eat" fruit? Like half a banana? Or on the go apple slices? Or some chocolate milk? Or granola bars? Wishing you all the best!!

I keep a granola bar, peanut butter crackers and honey roasted peanuts or almonds next to my nursing chair. those are the feedings I get super hungry at too. Sometimes I'll grab an oatmeal cream pie on my way back to bed ;)

Almonds, dried fruit, dried cereal, chex mix, fruit cups, yogurt, protein bars all kinds of stuff !!! Hope that helped 😊😊😊😊😊
