Processed and red meat causes cancer

My phone's being a doofus so I can't post the links but Google "IARC WHO meat" and the recent news articles should come right up.

The photo simplifies it but please look it up yourself to read the research!

Basically they've concluded that bacon, sausages and ham are about as carcinogenic as cigarettes, alcohol, asbestos and arsenic.

There's enough evidence to rank processed meats as definite causes of bowel cancer. Red meat is probably also a cause as there are links to pancreatic and prostate cancer.

Ham/bacon/salami should really be avoided as much as possible and red meat should be kept to low levels.

It's your decision what you do with the info, I'm vegan because of health reasons (now ethical as well) and will definitely be sharing this with my friends and family. Even if you'd never cut out animal products it's been shown time and time again that the more plant based your diet the healthier you are. I just think this is important to factor into your decisions, do with it what you will.
