Back ground:

My husband and I have been married nearly 2 years. We've been trying for a year.

Last month I was in severe foot pain and scheduled for surgery a month out. We practiced 'safer' sex but hey...after a year of no luck what's a night or two.

Anyways surgery on monday, nurses asked if there was any chance. I'd had a short visit from aunt flo a few days before (not uncommon for me) and shrugged saying no.

Saturday after the surgery fell into my ovulation testing day. I accidently opened a pregnancy test. Said screw it and took both tests (pregnancy and ovulation).

It was a positive pregnancy test!!

We think I'm around 6 weeks but am trying to get a doc appointment to confirm.
