Protected or unprotected with an IUD?

I have been with my SO for over a year now, and after I got the Mirena (IUD) installed, we haven't used protection and it sends me over the edge when he finishes inside me. I also have not had one pregnancy scare. Just curious on whether other girls with an IUD prefer guys to finish inside them or not?

I like that my IUD enables me to have worry-free sex, so for that reason I usually elect for him to finish inside me, then high-five him in a mini celebration of modern scientific advances.

Me and my boyfriend are the same, we dont use any sort of condom but I had the Mirena inserted almost 2 years ago. Ive not even been scared of being pregnant but am not sure whether that's just luck of the draw. Not sure that its reccommended or anything but I do the same ☺️

I've had mine for almost two years now, had a lot of issues with mine the first 6 months or so, but it's been fine since then. My boyfriend usually finishes inside me, but now I'm a little bit worried because my usually regular period is almost a week and a half late 😫
