Hey Ladies, my Dr wants me to start Clomid, but wants me to take bc pills for a month first. I have had a lot of breakthrough bleeding from pcos and she said that a month on the pill would make it stop/ give me a more normal period from which to count cycle days. Anyone else do this?

Since starting the bc pills I've had bad cramping and still breakthrough bleeding. Wondering if it's really worth sticking out the pills for a month. Anxious to start the clomid!
