Birth Control?!?

So I've been in a serious relationship for a while now and am thinking about birth control. I also have very irregular periods and am hoping it'll help with that. Please comment all of your pros and cons of using it as I am so scared of side effects 😐😐

Please don't be frightened of side effects! Usually they're very rare, the scary ones like blood clots. And if you're not liking your mood swings, weight gain or whatever your can ALWAYS switch to a different kind!

If I hadn't have gotten a blood clot from an emergency appendectomy, I'd still be on Ortho tri cyclene. It was amazing at preventing pregnancy and treating my PCOS!

I now have the IUD Skyla, and I absolutely love it! With the fertility friendly diet I've actually lost the easiest 30 pounds of my life and kept it off! It's also helped regulate my ovulation which is a huge step in the fertility prep plan for us.
