Facials!!! Are we allowed to have facials now?

I think I stop and ask about everything now. Lol. I went to get a foot massage the other day (I have a great place by my house that was my saving grace last year when I was training for a marathon) they advised because I am pregnant I cannot have pressure point massages on my feet. Who would have known? So now I am wondering? Can I have a facial ?

Be careful when you get pedi's also. I used to do nails in another life, and know that there is a spot on the lower ankle that, let's just say is not good to have pushed if you are pregnant.

As far as facials are concerned, Be careful about anything anti aging or geared towards acne. I've been breaking out like crazy, and I recently switched to a line geared towards pregnancy because there are some many acne products that contain harmful products for pregnancy.

I know it would be a drive for you, but there's a pregnancy spa in Boca that only uses pregnancy safe products and all their staff is specialially trained on how to work with pregnant women. They also do special 3D/4D ultrasounds!!  If you don't feel like making the drive, I'm sure they have a similar type of spa in Miami.

Tell your estheticisian but it should be ok, make sure she doesn't use any retinol products and ask for natural products and treatments. I think it sounds like a lovely treat!
