Cramps!! And ideas?!?

Hi! So I'm 36 weeks pregnant. And the past two days I've woken up in the middle of the night with super bad cramping that feels like a strong period also when I wipe sometimes this yellowish stuff comes on the toilet paper . Any ideas what this is???

My contractions totally felt like strong period cramps with my first. The l&d nurses didn't believe me that I was labor because I called them period like cramps.

Drink lots of water. I was having period like cramps and drank water and they went away.

Mucus plug, it's normal to lose peices of it you're whole pregnancy. If there's ever blood in it, call your doc
