Rosalie was born at 7:48am today, November 1, 2015.
Contractions began last night around 6pm but 15-20 minutes apart. Slept wonderfully (my body's way of prepping?!) and woke up at exactly 5am with contraction more intense and coming at 7-10 minutes. Took a quick shower, did some makeup, and left the house by 6:30am since they were coming in 3-5 minutes. Got to the hospital at 7 and was having slightly difficulty talking through the contractions. Was checked and I was told j was at 8cm -I was at 2cm on Friday!!!-
No time for an epidural, the anesthesiologist was taking too long and my water broke during a contraction. Got the hormone shakes and it was HURTING. started having to push and she was born within 2 minutes of my water breaking at 7:48am.
It hurt, a lot, but I did it. I freaking did it. I tore a teeny bit but I was so focused on the pain of her head coming through that I didn't feel the tear at all. It's so 1000% true, once that baby comes out, literally the moment she comes out, the pain is gone. If you're considering a natural birth or scared of one, just like everyone says: you can do it. Your body was made for this and you will just know what to do when the time comes.
