IUD???

Question

So, I just had my second baby in 18 months and my OB is really pushing an IUD- who has had one? Good experience? Bad?

Honestly I feel like I would recommend it. After my first son who is currently 4 years old I went in a month after postpartum to get the Mirena. Worked great through the years. Barley ever had a period & the days I did it was litterarly spotting for just 2-3days. I would though sometimes get some sharp pains in my belly button area but eventually the pain would go away. When my son turned 3 my fiance & I wanted to have another so I went & got it taken out which was pretty easy not painful at all. 3 months later we were able to conceive. Now I knew right away I wanted to get the iud again after my second so I went back in 2 months postpartum & it hurt like a b****! I mean I remember what it felt like the first time but this time it was such horrible pain. For 3 days I had cramps. I bled for a whole 6 weeks when I went back to get it checked they couldn't find the strings so I had a abdominal & vaginal ultrasound where they still couldn't find it (no way it had cane out because I've been using pads & I would've seen it) I got an Xray where it indicated it was in the right stop just maybe a little lopsided. Well the next day my doctor wanted to make sure so she went in my cervix with a little camera (at this point I'm numb & can feel cramping bad) turns out it went through my uterus & was nowhere to be found. I had surgery yesterday May 12,2016 to get that thing out of me. But honestly I might sound crazy but I might get the iud back once I'm healed because it worked amazing the first time.

I had IUD for 5 years. I decide to remove it, when I went to my doctor he couldn't pull it out since it was stuck in uterus. On second appointment he finally removed it but, it was extremely painful it was same pain as having a baby. I took 2 vicodin and he gave me pain relief shot I still felt everything.  Prisudure last 20 minutes then he said he thinks he last half pice of IUD inside of me so he send me to ultrasound. Thanks to God they didn't find anything but, we end up paying high medical  bills. I wouldn't recommend it.
