I'm 15, and sexually active. I wanna try out birth control pills- I only use condoms at the moment. But I'm just wondering what's the best other type I could use?

Given your age, I actually have to respect that you're trying to prevent pregnancy.. I hope you still continue to use condoms because at your age and being sexually active, Std's spred like wildfire because young adults think "it won't happen to them." There are many many different birth control pills and my advice to you, is speak to your doctor. If you don't feel like telling your mom, make something up so you can make an appointment. Your doctor can get you the pill and dose best for you without your mom knowing (as bad as that sounds, it's best to have a knowledgable adult helping you through this.) Best wishes!!

The depo! I have it and I'm 16. I love it, any accidents that happen you really don't have to worry about at all. Just tell your doctor you don't think you'll be able to remember to take a pill every day and they'll put tou on it that day!

I personally wouldn't recommend the depo it can have serious side affect it can give you issues with your bones and only last 12 week you have to keep getting it done the best thing would be the implant it's sure easy takes 6 minutes and lasts you 3 years never have to worry about it

I use the ring and absolutely love it. It shortened and regulated my period 3 weeks in and 1 week out for a period. I have been having like  3 day periods once I started using the ring. Its nice and the only side effects I have noticed is mild nausea in my off week and mild cramping the week before my off week.
