Opk test strips

So I've tested on cd 5 got a light line, then cd 6 alittle dark but still light, cd 7 really dark (could of o'd) then cd 8 want back to a light line, then cd 9 want back to dark. This is my first cycle using opk so I am new to all this. As anyone gone through this? Can anyone give me any advice with what's going on? Is this supposed to happen? We've bd since cd 5 my fiancé getting tired out from bd for 5 days.
