Yes but very little! Otherwise it could dry it out and dull the color. But it's the only thing i use and i have 14 tats so far

I was always told a & d without zinc (so the stuff that looks like Vaseline) the first three days and to use unscented lotion after the three days is up

I've only ever used anti-bacterial soap in the shower & regular unscented lotion as needed during the day. But I know everyone heals different :)
