Is it normal for your period to be late when you quit the pill?

So, my antibabies where not doing me any good so I quit them... The thing is, I got my period for two weeks and now it's late by nine days... I'm worried.

I just got off BC a few weeks ago and I'm on my third period this month😭😡😒 it will take up to a year for your cycle to get back to it's rhythm assuming you don't take anymore hormones! Also I went to my dr and she tried putting me back on BC. No thanks!!!
