Baby sleeping at night?

My baby girl is 1 week and she wakes up most the night and sleeps all day.. Any ideas on how to change this habit?

Getting baby on a schedule and making day time sleep different than night time sleep. Day time keep the blinds open, don't stifle noise, engage with the baby when he is awake (sing, talk, play). At night start with a bed time routine. We do bath, baby massage, story, lullaby, swaddle, nurse. We keep rooms dimly lit at night and noise to a minimum minus his white noise machine. If/when he wakes up we will speak/sing softly until he goes back to sleep. This helped us get more regular sleep... Until he just hit a growth spurt and decided mommy was a milk machine again, but hopefully as long as we continue he'll adjust back.

My LO will be 3 weeks old on Sunday and is slowly adjusting herself. She wakes up every 4 hrs to eat but that works for us.

Oh my goshhh. My little girl was born on the 22nd via cesarean && it's sooo hard getting her to sleep at night and stay up during the day. Sometimes she does and sometimes she don't . Same thing happened with my son 5 years ago but my mama got him switched.  I have no idea what to do lol . I try so hard to keep her awake during the day . :(

I gave mine just one formula feed at night (for mine it was 11pm) and was getting a good night's sleep  1130 till 630 then I'd breast feed during day 
That was how I got my guy to do a long stint at night and shorter stints during day
Tho that long was at two weeks onwards

I have found that waking baby up every 3 hours during the day really helps. My daughter is 6 and a half weeks old now and slept around 5 hours in one go last night!

I have the same issues my three week old seems to sleep longer stints during the day and shorter ones at night. I get up about every 2-3hrs to feed and currently do one 3oz bottle w breast milk at 8ish but he still continues to wake the same. During day he sleeps 4-5hrs at a time leaving one tired mama! What time are people starting a "bedtime routine"?
