Would the ultrasound tech see anything at 6 weeks exact?

My primary physician said since my periods are irregular that I'd need an ultrasound though shes pretty confident (and so am I) that I'm 5 weeks 5 days today. I just want to get booked in early as possible.

8 weeks would be best. You would for sure see something even if your dates are off and your a little earlier. It can be stressful when they don't see anything because it's too early and you have to worry for nothing you know?

I had one at 6 weeks cuz of miscarriage scare (turned out fine tho) can't tell it's a baby but it is

I went for my first ultrasound at 5 weeks when I found out and it was too hard to see the baby. There was a gestational sac so I was for sure pregnant. We had to wait till my second ultrasound at 8 weeks to get a good look

There wouldn't be much to see but if your doctor recommends one I would go ahead and have one done so that they can determine how far along you are and they will be able to determine when all of the rest of your appointments should be.

I was exactly 6 weeks at my first ultrasound. He was just a little seamonkey but I did see his heart beating and it was so nice and really put me at ease until our 12 week appointment(:
